I've designed print and UX for Stanford for over eight years, helping teams across campus communicate within the university's brand while expressing their distinct impact and voice.
I'm a trained librarian, with a master's degree focused on information organization and representation: how to structure information so people can find and understand it. That turns out to be at the heart of good design.
Working directly with students, I saw firsthand how good design helps people get what they need, and how bad design gets in their way. I started making flyers, signage, and web pages to close that gap. That grew into web design and content strategy at Stanford Libraries, then full-time design at Stanford Web Services, where I led projects for units across the university and built design systems that let each one feel distinctive within the Stanford identity.
Today I work freelance with Stanford, other universities, and nonprofits. I care about design that is bold, accessible, and built to grow with the people who use it.
